Contributing to the Circular Economy
At Element, we believe sustainability also means giving back. That’s why we regularly donate retired but still-usable inventory to community organizations. From our Vancouver location, we’ve donated 10,000 pieces of furniture and tableware to Habitat for Humanity and The Salvation Army, helping extend the life of quality items while supporting these meaningful causes.
In Ontario, many of our donations have gone to The Salvation Army, with total contributions across our network exceeding $100,000 in value. In September 2024, we were honoured to donate 47,963 items to Romero House, an organization that provides transitional housing and wrap-around support for newly arrived refugee families. We’ve also supported their Out of the Cold shelter program and continue to partner with organizations like The Salvation Army to help furnish shelters and transitional housing. By providing items that help turn empty spaces into warm, welcoming homes, we’re proud to play a small part in supporting new beginnings.
Our donation efforts don’t stop there. We continue to identify opportunities to contribute more to local communities—diverting thousands of items from landfills and making a tangible impact through partnerships and charitable initiatives.
