Nicholas leads Element’s operations, sales, and growth in the Vancouver—Western Canada region. He is proud to be part of a design-forward team that curates the finest décor, furniture, and service items to create extraordinary event spaces. As a leader, his passion is inspiring award-winning teams by focusing on human engagement and bringing remarkable event experiences to life. Prior to joining Element, Nicholas served as the Chief Executive Officer of the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame and had 14 years at TELUS, where he led as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships and Senior Director & Vice Chair of Government Relations. His background includes creative services, event production, branding, business planning, corporate marketing, complex technology implementations, and stakeholder engagement.
Active in the community, Nicholas was chair of the business and community engagement committee for the 102nd Grey Cup Festival in Vancouver and has been active with the BC Lions Football Club’s Waterboys organization since 2011. He also served as an appointed member on Capilano University’s Board of Governors (2016-2018) and was chair of the board’s Investment Committee. As active residents of the Pacific Northwest, Nicholas and his family are adventurers inspired by travel, language, and culture.
